Hornby L&MR, Carriage and ‘Times’ Coach Pack –
Era 1. Early coaches were a far cry from what we have come to expect
in the modern era. Third Class coaches resembled little more than
open wagons with a few internal walls to create some semblance of
compartments. The First Class passengers, as you may expect, were
treated considerably better than those in Third Class. Passengers
would be treated to padded bench seats in each compartment and a
